What beautiful girls you have! I came across your blog as I was researching CMV (I have a 5 month old with cCMV) and your little one gives me such hope! Thanks for writing about your journey. Feel free to check out my blog... www.jasonkimandkinsey.blogspot.com
On August 28th, 2007, Sienna came into our world. We have recently discovered that she was born with Congenital Cytomegalovirus (CMV)which resulted in a profound bilateral hearing loss and growth and developmental delays. She was diagnosed with her hearing loss in December 2008. Her hearing journey began in January 2009 when she put on her hearing aids.
Sienna is our ray of sunlight, hence the name, Sunshine Sienna. From the beginning, she lights up our lives with the twinkle in her eyes, her contagious smile and her comical ways.
This site was developed to keep our family and friends updated with her progress. We thank everyone for your continued support.

I am a mother to two beautiful little girls, Rylee and Sienna. My life is full of love, laughter and of course tears. As a teacher, I never thought I would have a child with special needs. Life is full of surprises, which molds us into who we are today.
Love it ! She is doing so well, such a smart little girl!
